Hi! My name is Mackenzie Jarrell and I am so glad you’re here.  It is my honor and privilege to serve as the President of the Pi Alpha chapter of Delta Zeta at the University of Florida.  

 

Running home on bid day 3 years ago marked a pivotal day in my life.  A day in which I became part of a sisterhood that, now, I cannot imagine my life without.  Since then, Delta Zeta has pushed me to grow into the best version of myself.  What I find so unique and impactful about Delta Zeta is that every woman in our chapter has something incredible and unique to offer to the world, and our sisterhood.  I am constantly inspired by their accomplishments within our sisterhood, our Gainesville community, and beyond.  Every day I feel grateful to be surrounded by authentic women who are kind, loving, and driven.  Whether I need advice, a shoulder to cry on, a late-night sweet treat buddy, or simply a friend to stand by my side as I navigate the challenges and triumphs of college life, I could not have asked for a better group of women. The sisters of the Pi Alpha chapter capture the true essence of what it means to be a Delta Zeta woman.  A woman who lives every day of her life as a true friend, a dedicated citizen of the world, an empowering leader, a scholar, a mentor, and a sister.  

 

Not only has this chapter been one of the best parts of my college experience, but I look forward to the many years to come.  Delta Zeta has shaped me into the best version of myself, and I can say with confidence that I will continue past college with a group of incredible lifelong friends.
