Hi! My name is Sophie Roland, and I am Delta Zeta Pi Alpha’s Vice President of Membership for Formal Recruitment this year. It has been such an honor to serve and work with the women of this chapter. I cannot wait to meet you all in the fall!

Moving to UF and beginning the Formal Recruitment process was a whirlwind of emotions during my Freshman Fall. I did not yet know where this process would take me, but I was so excited to meet members of the Panhellenic community and experience their sisterhood. After visiting Delta Zeta in round 2, I fell in love. The women I spoke to were kind, genuine, and energetic; I resonated with their love for community and commitment to each other. Each time I went back to the house and met more sisters, my love grew. I felt like I found my home and best friends.

 

After almost two years in this chapter, I have felt supported by my sisters each and every day. The friends I have made in Delta Zeta have defined my experience thus far at UF. They are a constant network of support, a shoulder to lean on, and a never-ending supply of laughter. I look forward to each and every moment spent with them. Thank you all for always making me feel so valued and loved.

As you begin this process, follow your heart and trust in yourself! I hope you find a home and a sisterhood where you feel valued, comfortable, and supported. Wherever the recruitment process takes you, I hope you find a love that is ever steadfast.
